The Night Manager
About This Production
The Night Manager put Mallorca on the global screen like no other production. Based on John le Carré's novel, this BBC spy thriller starring Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie used the spectacular Sa Fortalesa estate in Pollença as the villain's clifftop lair — instantly making it one of the most recognisable private estates in the world. The series also filmed extensively in Cala Deià, Port de Sóller, and at the Hospes Maricel Hotel. A second season is confirmed for 2026, ensuring Mallorca remains at the centre of prestige television. The filming locations have become pilgrimage sites for fans, and many can be visited by chartering a yacht along the northwest coast with Bluebnc Yachting.
About the Locations
Sa Fortalesa, the 16th-century fortress perched on the Pollença peninsula, is the undisputed star of the series. Cala Deià's turquoise waters feature in several romantic scenes, while Port de Sóller's crescent bay provides the backdrop for key plot moments. The Hospes Maricel Hotel near Palma served as additional luxury interiors.
