About This Production
Netflix's award-winning royal drama The Crown filmed key scenes in Mallorca for its final season, recreating Princess Diana's famous holiday in the Balearics. Elizabeth Debicki, portraying Diana, was filmed along Palma Bay and at Puerto Portals — the very marina where Diana herself was photographed in the 1990s. The production brought global attention to Mallorca's royal connections, as the Spanish Royal Family has maintained their summer residence at the Marivent Palace in Palma for decades. Puerto Portals remains one of the island's most glamorous marinas, perfect for a luxury yacht charter with Bluebnc Yachting.
About the Locations
Puerto Portals, the glamorous marina between Palma and Portals Nous, served as the primary filming location, recreating the 1990s scenes of Diana's Mediterranean holiday. Palma Bay's sweeping coastline provided the backdrop for yacht scenes. The area around Marivent Palace, the Spanish Royal Family's summer residence, was also featured.
