Overview
Sant Joan, the summer solstice celebration, is one of Mallorca's most magical nights. Locals and visitors gather on beaches to light bonfires, jump over flames for good luck, and celebrate the shortest night of the year. The festivities include fireworks, traditional music, and the ritual of writing wishes on paper to burn in the flames. Palma's waterfront and Playa de Palma host the largest celebrations.
