What staying here is like
- It suits groups who want an inland town market as well as access to the south coast, rather than a single resort setting.
- Walkers have two published easy coastal routes: the S’Estalella trail from S’Estanyol, and the Cala Pi–Cap Blanc route; both use exposed coastal ground and the latter starts with a long staircase to the beach.
- Golfers have Son Antem in Llucmajor, with East and West courses and a golf academy.
- Boat users can use the facilities of Club Nàutic S’Estanyol, which sits within the Es Migjorn Marine Reserve.

Beaches and coves
- Cala Pi: A narrow sandy cove between cliffs, reached by a long staircase; after storms, rough sea can reduce the beach.
- Es Racó de s’Arena: A small cove near S’Estanyol on the S’Estalella trail; the beach can be affected by rough sea and seaweed in winter.
- Cala Beltran: A rocky cove on the Cala Pi–Cap Blanc route; the local tourism route advises against swimming here when the sea is rough.
Highlights

- Cala Pi to Cap Blanc: An easy 10.9 km coastal out-and-back route between Cala Pi and Cap Blanc, following cliffs, coves and historic defensive structures.
