Puerto Portals, the glamorous marina between Palma and Portals Nous, served as the primary filming location, recreating the 1990s scenes of Diana's Mediterranean holiday. Palma Bay's sweeping coastline provided the backdrop for yacht scenes. The area around Marivent Palace, the Spanish Royal Family's summer residence, was also featured.
